Anime Expeditions Units

Every unit in Anime Expeditions, grouped by rarity. Each page covers the unit's role, how to get it, its evolution, best traits, and the modes where it performs best.

Units are the core of Anime Expeditions. You obtain them through summoning (gacha banners), then build them up through Upgrade, Evolution, Equipment, and Trait/Stat rerolls. Rarity roughly predicts power — Secret units are the rarest and strongest, followed by Exclusive and Mythic.

Units Guides

Shadow (Divine)

Secret DPS/support unit. Summons Divine Spirits and turns the battlefield into the Shadow Realm for team buffs.

8th Sword (Berserk)

Secret unit with the highest single-target damage in the game (Berserk evolution).

Cursed Student (True Love)

Mythic DPS. Every 3rd attack triggers a boosted follow-up with Bleed and Bat Spirit summons.

Elf Mage (Unleashed)

Mythic high-damage unit; evolves via the Cosmic Magic material.

Puppet (Telekinetic)

Mythic damage and crowd-control unit (Telekinetic evolution).

Flame Emperor (Reincarnate)

Mythic damage unit; evolves via the Burning Fruit material.

String Demon (Awakened)

Mythic unit; evolves via Joker of the Nonsensical Pirates.

Lady Giant (Envy)

Mythic unit (Envy evolution) with strong mid-tier carry value.
