Equipment

Equipment multiplies a unit's output alongside Traits, Stats, and Evolution. Gear comes in standard and unit-exclusive flavors, and you tune it with Equipment Reroll and Equipment Lock.

Last updated: Jul 26, 2026

Overview

  • Standard gear — general equipment any unit can use.
  • Unit-exclusive gear — tied to specific units, often required for evolution; dropped by specific story maps or Mastery stages.

Like Stats and Traits, Equipment rolls have a potential you can tune. Two items control that tuning:

  • Equipment Reroll — rerolls an equipment’s stat potential.
  • Equipment Lock — locks an equipment stat during a reroll so it does not change.

Where rerolls and locks come from

Equipment Reroll and Equipment Lock come from Challenges, the various shops, the Event Shop, the Gold Shop, and bundles. Locks let you protect a good stat while chasing a better one on a second slot.

💡 Lock before you reroll

Got one great stat and one mediocre one? Use an Equipment Lock on the good stat, then reroll the other. It preserves your best roll while you improve the rest.

Update 0.5 — Event gear & mount

The Villain Invasion event (Update 0.5) added two new event items alongside the four new villain units:

  • Crow event gear — event equipment tuned for magic-damage builds, and a natural fit for Crow (Secret Itachi). As with any event gear, keep a solid roll rather than chasing a marginal upgrade — a Mythic roll of 80%+ is generally worth holding onto.
  • demon-wing mount — a new mount with a demon-wing appearance, available from the event.

These items are limited to the Villain Invasion event window. Spend Villain Coins in the Event Shop on the event gear and evolution materials before the event ends.

⚠️ Sources still being verified

The exact drop sources and stat ranges for Crow event gear and the demon-wing mount are not yet confirmed first-hand. Treat specifics as community-reported until checked in-game. Community-verified as of July 26, 2026.
