Sandbox is Anime Expeditions’ no-stakes testing mode. It exists so you can try out builds, unit combinations, and setups without affecting progression, ranks, or resource pools.
How it works
You can place units and configure encounters freely. Because nothing in Sandbox feeds back into progression, it is the right place to validate a build before spending resources on upgrades, evolutions, or trait rerolls in modes that do matter.
